A high school student named Haru Koyama and her classmate Seiji Chiba die in a traffic accident. They then get transported to another realm where they encounter different circumstances. While Seiji embarks on an adventure to defeat monsters, Haru learns that women are forbidden from possessing unique abilities in this new world. As a result, she decides to pursue employment as a sex worker.

JK Haru wa Isekai de Shoufu ni Natta began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou, where 14 chapters and a side story were released from October 26, 2016 to August 2, 2017, and was published in print by Hayakawa Shobo on December 6, 2017. The series was published digitally in English as JK Haru Is a Sex Worker in Another World by J-Novel Club on September 19, 2018, and in print on July 9, 2019.
