Jinzo Hatta was picked up by Shizuichiro Yanagi, the owner of a small kendo dojo. Living with Master Yanagi, who appears stubborn yet possesses a childish side, Jinzo feels drawn to him physically. This attraction becomes uncontrollable and one night, Jinzo secretly kisses Yanagi while he is asleep. Later, Yanagi receives a request to teach swordsmanship at the residence of samurais. Although initially hesitant and conflicted, as Jinzo wishes to please him and aid his career progression but does not realize its importance to him, Yanagi eventually agrees. During their conversation one night, Yanagi becomes drunk and propositions Jinzo for a sexual encounter, which Jinzo accepts. The following morning, Yanagi, who is experiencing back pain, makes an unexpected proposal to Jinzo.
