Gaku is an individual who enjoys running more than anyone else in his circle of friends. He has always been driven by a desire to become as fast as possible. Despite facing ridicule from other students regarding his unique approach to compensate for his short stature, he continues to run with the same level of dedication. However, as time goes on and the pain and embarrassment associated with running begin to subside, Gaku makes a promise to himself that this will be his final event.
