Miyanari is an organized student who one day discovers that they have a connection to Hashiba, a rebellious classmate. Despite initially dismissing the idea of them being fated, events unfold in which Miyanari finds themselves interacting with Hashiba in various situations such as receiving help from him when injured and being left alone with him in a confined space. As Miyanari spends more time with Hashiba, they learn about his kind nature that contrasts his tough exterior.

Yuutousei wa Unmei no Akaiito ni Sakaraitai began as a web manga released on the authors Twitter and pixiv accounts since November 20, 2020, and published in print by Frontier Works on December 15, 2021. The series won an award for excellence at the November 2020 Monthly pixiv Comics Awards.
