Fate/Apocrypha  

In Fate/Apocrypha, the setting is different from that of Fate/stay night because the Greater Grail was removed from Fuyuki and disappeared for many years. Then in the 2000s, around the time of the Fifth Holy Grail War, Yggdmillennia, which had stolen the Grail, announced their secession from the Mages Association and claimed possession of it. The Association sent fifty magi to retrieve the Grail, but all except one were killed by Lancer of Black. That remaining man managed to activate the reserve system of the Greater Grail, allowing for the summoning of fourteen Servants in total. This marked the beginning of the Great Holy Grail War in Trifas, which involved two factions: the Black Faction, consisting of members from Yggdmillennia, and the Red Faction, made up of magi sent by the Mages Association except for one who was from the Church. The Grail itself also summoned Ruler to act as a mediator in the Holy Grail War.
