When his sister was brutally murdered by goblins during an attack on their village, a young boy vowed revenge against those responsible. Five years later, now a novice adventurer, he reunited with his childhood friend who also survived the massacre. Despite being inexperienced and equipped with crude gear, the boy embarked alone on a mission to eliminate a goblin nest. This is how Goblin Slayer came to be known.
