The Empire, known for its advanced knowledge, feared the Country of Witches as the Nebulis Imperial Household Agency. On a long-lasting battlefield between these two nations, a boy and girl met. Aliceliese, an ice witch princess renowned for her strength within the agency, and Iska, a swordsman who became the ultimate force on the battlefield at a young age throughout Empire history, crossed paths. "If you capture me," said Aliceliese, "your dream may also be fulfilled." Similarly, if Iska defeated her, it would mark a step towards unifying their world. Despite being arch enemies, they were fated to kill each other. However, the boy was captivated by the girl's beauty and nobility, while she found herself drawn to his strength and way of life. Although walking together was forbidden, their only path forward was to defeat one another.
