The "Hero of Darkness," Shion, was renowned for being the strongest hero in history. He had a firm conviction that he would defeat the Demon Lord with his current companions. However, tragedy struck when those he trusted betrayed him, leaving him near death's door. Despite this setback, Shion remained resolute and continued on his quest to find a way to end his life. While wandering in a forest, he encountered a monster who asked, "Will you kill me, please?" Although still strong, Shion was now determined to die as well, so he agreed to the monster's request.
