Mitsuo Akamori desires to become an average office worker, despite being a highly intelligent murderer from a family with a long history of killing. However, he encounters challenges such as yakuza members, fighters, and gangs while pursuing this path.

Satsudou went on hiatus in December 2023. A couple of months later, on March 25, 2024, Kodansha announced that the author had passed away and the series was discontinued.
