To achieve her goal of living near the sea, 28-year-old Aoba relied on a real estate agent. However, she was disappointed with the outcome as she ended up in an unkempt apartment without inspecting it beforehand. Despite being taken aback by the unexpected condition of the apartment, Aoba's landlord, Mikuru, tried to persuade her to stay. Eventually, Aoba decided to remain due to the stunning view of the ocean from her room. When she informed Mikuru about her decision, she was surprised by his emotional response, as he removed his glasses and cried with relief. Aoba became intrigued by Mikuru's commitment to managing the apartment and began to consider how he could be useful to her.
