Jirou Ayasegawa is naturally talented in sports but feels isolated at the top due to his success. He has unintentionally crushed other players' aspirations, causing some of them to abandon their sport altogether. Seeking a more relaxed team experience, he joins "The Bambies," a local children's baseball team that plays solely for enjoyment. However, things take an unexpected turn when he becomes involved with this team.

Diamond no Kouzai ranked first in the 2024 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! for the Male Readers division.The series has been published digitally as an English simulpub as The Days of Diamond through MANGA Plus.
