Nana Kenzaki is an advertising professional in Kyoto who feels unappreciated for her efforts. One day, while exploring, she discovers a bar called "Polar Bear." There, she meets Ryuuichi Nonami, the owner, and Testuo Ashikari, a photographer. As a result of this encounter, Nana becomes involved in the world of craft beer. The story begins with her embracing the freedom to enjoy beer.
