Chikako Fujitani is a 1st-year student at Hanano Women's College who moves into an apartment with Kanro, an aspiring mangaka from the same school. Chiaki, a bus guide pretending to be a college student, also lives in the same building. While on a "Country-Bumpkin" tour, Chikako meets Iwata and reconnects with her middle school crush, Nagae. She also encounters Makoto, the landlord's son. The story explores the complex and often unpredictable emotions of college students as they navigate their relationships in a realistic setting.
