In essence, a city-dwelling conductor named Azumi Kiri is arrogant, while a rural grocer named Osamu Mitsutani resembles a big dog. Despite their differences, they become close friends after Osamu helps Azumi out of trouble when he returns to the countryside for recovery. Although initially annoyed, Azumi eventually accepts Osamu's help in any way possible.
