Young Kai has been admiring Ginta since the War Games six years ago. Since then, Guardians and ARMs have become more common. Although Kai does not possess an ARM himself, he dreams of obtaining one like Gintas. When his caretaker, an old ARM-smith who took him in after his parents' deaths, sends him on an errand, Kai is attacked by a bandit from "chess." During his attempt to escape, he encounters Babbo. However, with Babbos awakening, fake ARMs are becoming increasingly problematic. Is it now Kais turn to save MAR Heaven and follow in the footsteps of his hero?
