In the wake of the war against Glenn, Elseria has been named empress of a fractured empire that is plagued by rebels. Köinzell, who was previously Lord Viceroy Ascheriit, has been tasked with helping Elseria restore order alongside Geranpen, her chief official Ato, and Blatt Meister Ikfes. Meanwhile, on the southern frontier of the empire, a new threat emerges in the form of The Knights of the Fallen King, who are loyal followers of Glenn and believe he will return someday. These knights are causing chaos in the empire's distant regions.
