The color white is associated with passion in Suguro Chayamachi's BLANC collection of six unique short stories. In one story, a young man searches for the home of a lost cat. Another follows two delinquents who bond after a near-death experience. A boy experiences first love and its joys and pains in another tale. One character makes a dark decision to hide their tracks, while a familiar face reminds a teenager of past memories at a Yakuza funeral. Through these stories, Chayamachi explores the imperfections that make humans unique, including friendship, love, and heartbreaking regret.
