Foyle Austin and his best friend Yu were two young boys living in a peaceful village who dreamed of becoming heroes. However, according to legend, only one person can be a hero at any given time. When Foyle was declared a "Hero" by the goddess, Yu was left unsure of his own fate. But Foyle had a secret that he alone knew-he was actually the "Fake Hero." Despite this, Foyle believed he was meant to be the true hero's adversary and expelled Yu from his party. As time passed, Foyle's powers began to fade while Yu grew stronger.
