In a distant land, there lived a young woman named Cianna Asylond von Silité. She belonged to a tiny kingdom that was later invaded by the imperial army. Just before her kingdom fell, Cianna pleaded with the crown prince of the empire not to behead her. Despite her desperate pleas, she was beheaded. However, as she lay dying, she wished she could be just a simple maid. To her surprise, she found herself working as an apprentice maid in the imperial palace. To her delight, she discovered that she had a natural talent for cleaning corridors, baking cookies, washing bedding, brewing tea, making dresses, and educating the prince. Although she never imagined that she would capture the heart of the crown prince as well, she did so when he expressed his love for her.
