In the not-too-distant future, Kiku Shinonome, a police officer who had been put into cryogenic stasis for 60 years due to a serious injury that would have been fatal otherwise, wakes up in an unfamiliar world. She must join forces with Kyo Tsukisagari, a criminal with psychic powers, to solve paranormal incidents despite their contrasting personalities.
