In this story, Yoshioke, who comes from the head family of their village, marries Chitose, who descends from the shrine maiden family. However, Chitose is actually a man, which causes Yoshioke great anger. Despite Chitose being beautiful but reserved and unfriendly, their marriage is filled with difficulties. Eventually, they discover that Chitose is actually a man after an incident. How can they overcome these challenges and become a real couple?
