Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - Hiru Kowashihen, Whey They Cry - Welcome to Harukowashi, ひぐらしのなく頃に 昼壊し編

In essence, Hirukowashi-hen is an adaptation of Higurashi Daybreak. It follows Keiichi Maebara and Rika Furude as they navigate through a parallel universe. One day during her treasure hunting, Rena unintentionally ingests something in her mouth. According to Rika, the seal on the "Fuwarazu Magatama" pair was shattered, which means that Rena must have swallowed one of them by mistake. The magatama possesses enigmatic supernatural abilities; if someone has the red magatama, they will be infatuated with anyone who holds the white magatama without being able to see it.
