To live a more peaceful life as an average high school student, Tsuburas recently moved from a bustling city to her grandmothers rural home. On her first day at her new school, she faced an uncomfortable introduction to her classmates. However, things took an unexpected turn when a stray baseball shattered the window from outside. To everyone's surprise, Tsubura sprang into action and caught it before it hit the ground. Her impressive catch-and-throw earned her admiration from the boys in the class, who begged her to join their school's baseball team. Despite her initial reluctance, Tsuburas passion for baseball was reignited by this experience. However, she still had reservations about joining the team due to its weak performance and lack of success in division championships. Ultimately, Tsubura decided to follow her heart and joined the boys on the pitcher's mound.
