A forty-year-old salary man named Shizuo Oguro quits his job to pursue his dream of becoming a manga artist, but this decision causes strain on his family. Although not unhappy with his previous job, he feels that something is missing from his life. So, he leaves his stable yet monotonous career to embark on a journey of self-discovery. However, Shizuo's newfound passion for manga art involves spending all day playing video games while his teenage daughter and elderly father support him. Ultimately, the question is whether Shizuo will succeed in creating a successful manga masterpiece or become just another dropout living a life of slackness.
Ore wa Mada Honki Dashitenai dake was published in English as Ill Give It My All...Tomorrow by VIZ Media under the SigIkki imprint from May 18, 2010 to July 16, 2013.The series was adapted into a live-action film which released on June 15, 2013.
