Star of the Giants, 巨人の星

The narrative revolves around Hyuma Hoshi, a gifted young baseball pitcher who aspires to achieve greatness like his father Ittetsu Hoshi in the professional Japanese league. His dad was previously a 3rd baseman but had to retire after being injured during World War II. Hyuma joins the Giants team and soon faces the pressure of living up to expectations. He must endure rigorous training and compete against Mitsuru Hanagata on the Hanshin Tigers in order to prove himself as a top-tier pitcher.
