The novel "Prologue to the Game" was authored by Takumi Nakazawa, who also penned narratives for Ever17, Memories Off 2nd, and Wadapen provided the illustrations. Each chapter focuses on one of six heroines, with chapters one through six arranged in the order of Nanaka, Aoi, Syuri, Yuzuki, Hinako, and Asami.
