In modern times, a teenager named Mizuo is suddenly transported into Feudal Japan where he is revered as a Living Buddha. Despite the war-torn environment, Mizuo yearns to go back home. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Takakage, the leader of the Yamako army, who is both fearless on the battlefield and deeply devoted to Mizuo.
