Takao's fascination with large breasts is well-known, and he is so preoccupied with admiring women with ample endowments that he fails to recognize Yoshinaga's affection for him. When Takao playfully informs Yoshinaga of a girl confessing her feelings to him, the latter becomes enraged and physically overpowers his friend. Despite protesting half-heartedly, Takao finds himself puzzled by his own loyalty to his possessive and short-tempered companion.
On another note, Takeharu is haunted by a tragic event from his past: his fisherman father fell off his boat several years ago and was never found. His enigmatic cousin Toshizou, once an accomplished traveler who journeyed around the world, now lives as a jobless vagrant at Takeharu's home. However, to Takaharu's surprise, it is this very cousin whom he despises that may hold the key to overcoming his debilitating fear of the sea.
