In ancient times, shikizaki kiki created 1000 blades, but his last twelve were the most exceptional. these legendary deviant swords are renowned in japan for their unique characteristics. fast forward to an isolated island where yasuri shichika and nanami live. togame, a skilled strategist with long white hair, embarks on a quest with shichika to gather the twelve blades. they face off against blade wielders in intense battles while discovering more about themselves and their true objectives. despite not fully understanding his inheritance as a kyoutoryuu sword, shichika continues this journey of self-discovery.
