The story takes place on Earth, where alien attacks have become commonplace instead of rare occurrences. Despite efforts by all countries worldwide to develop effective countermeasures against these attacks, they have been unsuccessful. In Japan, there is a secret organization called GRA under the Alien Defense Agency's control, with Dr. Sanada Mio as its leader. The main goal of this organization is to find a special countermeasure against alien attacks, and it has enlisted Dr. Sanada Mio's help in developing a next-generation weapon called "G-on." This new secret weapon requires the user to resonate with their heart, which will transform into a sword that holds power proportional to the strength of the girl who wields it. The plan and the new weapon are approved immediately, leading to the establishment of a special school to recruit and train young girls from across Japan for this purpose.
