Mizutani Minato, a high school student, has struggled to fit in at her new school since transferring from her middle school with her close friends. Her reserved nature has hindered her ability to make friends and engage with her classmates. By chance, she joins the astronomy club, comprised of three students who are considered oddballs on campus. The club members include Aida Souji, the smartest freshman, Kousaka Ranko, the second brightest and incredibly strong, and Yakigawa Yoichi. All four share a dream of becoming NASA members and studying the universe. They call themselves "Soramiyo," combining the first letter of each member's name. Through this club, Minato learns to embrace her true self and understand the significance of having close friends.
