AI has been trying to follow in her mother's footsteps by participating in talent agency tests but has failed every single one of them. This failure has become a complex for her as she struggles to find her own identity and path. As she cries alone in a public park, she is approached by 765 Production idol Haruka Amami, who was a special judge at one of the tests AI took. Haruka comforts AI and introduces her to 876 Productions president Ishikawa, who believes that AI's mother's name alone should be enough to propel her to the top. However, AI protests, stating that she wants to become an idol using only her own strength. As a result, she is given one chance to prove herself at a rookie idol audition.
