The Worlds Welfare Work Association (WWWA) is responsible for maintaining peace and investigating crimes across the cosmos. They have a reputation for being safe and respectful of life and property. However, this does not seem to apply to Agents Kei and Yuri, also known as "the Lovely Angels" or "the Dirty Pair." These two agents are part female James Bond and part walking disaster, who manage to complete their missions despite the potential for destruction. In this story, they are tasked with investigating the catastrophic explosion at Gravus Heavy Industry on planet Dangool. What they discover leads them on a perilous journey across the galaxy. The Dirty Pair were created by Haruka Takachiho in 1979 and have become one of the most popular characters in anime and science fiction.
