In "The Legend of Dragoon" manga series, which takes place in the fantasy world of Endiness, Dart embarks on a quest to rescue his childhood friend Shana from Hellena prison. Along the way, he befriends Lavitz, another knight from Basil. After rescuing Shana and making new friends, Dart travels to knight fort Hoax to make peace with Sandora, Serdio's rival nation. It is there that he meets Rose, a mysterious female swordsman who awakens the power of the Dragoon within him, forever changing his life.
