In the story, Doumyouji decides to show kindness towards Rui and tries to set him up with a girl named Kimiko. However, it turns out that Kimiko isn't what everyone thinks she is. While searching for more information about her, Doumyouji asks Tsukushi to marry him. During this time of reflection, Rui comes to realize where he truly belongs and discovers another love interest.
