Mashiro no Oto  

ましろのおと, 真白之音, 순백의 소리, Those Snow White Notes

A shamisen is a traditional Japanese musical instrument with a guitar-like appearance. The grandson of Setsu, who was raised by his grandfather and older brother Wakana, recently passed away. His grandfather was an exceptional shamisen player, and the siblings grew up listening to him play and learning the instrument. After their grandfather's death, Setsu dropped out of high school and moved to Tokyo, unsure of what to do besides playing shamisen. That is until his wealthy and successful mother, Umeko, intervened and enrolled him back in high school. Through this experience, Setsu rediscovered his passion for shamisen.
