The term "brainwashing" initially referred to a straightforward method for motivating employees to work diligently. Over time, corporations transformed it into a disciplined practice. To attract top talent, companies hired professional "washers," who were responsible for influencing individuals' thoughts and behaviors. However, some washers would follow the same person multiple times, each erasing the previous washer's program. A small group of elite washers split off to become deprogrammers, capable of dismantling programs and analyzing the human mind. Despite their abilities, deprogrammers posed a threat to the washers, and even they were not entirely invincible.
