GANTZ/EXA  

The protagonist's name is Nagatomo. He is an astronaut and scientist responsible for a top-secret cryogenics experiment on human subjects such as assassins or political prisoners, all conducted within the spaceship "RETRO". Upon waking up inside the ship, he sees numerous black spheres floating in space outside. Initially believing them to be debris from something, Nagatomo later realizes there is life activity within them and decides to retrieve one of those spheres. Inside the sphere, he discovers a girl named Kishimoto. Nagatomo and Kishimoto are then transported to a GANTZ room that resembles Tokyo's. The black sphere inside the room begins playing a radio song, revealing the target: the "comedian alien." Both Nagatomo and Kishimoto are sent to the battle area. While wearing her GANTZ suit, Kishimoto proves useful due to her knowledge of the missions. After fighting the aliens, Nagatomo and Kishimoto return to the room. Nagatomo earns six points while "Big tits" receives zero. Kishimoto decides to remain in the GANTZ room since she has no other place to go back to. Nagatomo departs but promises to come back.
