The story is about an inventor named Haido who creates a short tale centered around him and his niece, Airi. Although he's known for being intelligent or foolish, his actions cause problems with Airi and her parents due to one of his inventions causing Airi some harm. This incident strains their relationship even further. Then, Airi is kidnapped, leaving Haido wondering what action he should take.
