Two families are linked by a centuries-old curse. every hundred years, one individual from each family must endure an identical fate for twelve months. the duo will suffer twelve misfortunes, with one person being injured while the other must bear their wounds in return. kagura izumi lost his parents at age seven and has lived a normal life ever since. on his seventeenth birthday, he meets ichijyou chihaya, marking the beginning of their intertwined fate. for the next year, they will be forced to confront twelve misfortunes on the thirteenth day of each month, a curse that no previous pair has survived.
