Suzuki was a former law-abiding teacher who joined a criminal organization called Reijou to avenge his murdered wife. However, his plan was foiled by an unknown individual known as the "Pusher," who pushed him into the path of an oncoming car. As a result, Suzuki decided to pursue this mysterious figure. The Pusher is also being pursued by two other hitmen: Cicada, who wields knives, and Whale, whose family runs a business that encourages suicide. The story is told from the perspectives of these three individuals and explores how their lives are interconnected.
