In 1999 on september 9th, earth will collide with a newly discovered tenth planet known as lametal. although this collision won't significantly harm the giant ice planet, it will ultimately lead to earth's destruction. yayoi, who is the daughter of lametal's queen and has been entrusted with abducting humans for slavery, befriends an orphaned boy named hajime. as they spend time together, yayoi begins to question her mother's intentions. alongside her human family and friends, she takes up the fight against lametal in order to prevent earth's destruction and search for a way to avoid it.
