The war between the Federation and the Veigans has been ongoing for 25 years since the Battle of Ambat. Despite numerous attempts at peace negotiations, the conflict remains unresolved with no end in sight. Flit, a commander in Earth's forces and father to two children, is determined to win the war. He believes that it's time for his son Asemu to take over as pilot for the Gundam on his 17th birthday, entrusting him with the AGE Device. During an attack on their city, Asemu pilots the Gundam AGE-1 hidden at their family stable for the first time in order to repel the Veigan offensive.
