20-year-old Minoru Aihara came to Tokyo with the goal of becoming an action manga artist. To his surprise, he landed a job as an assistant to Kenji Takakura, the creator of "Ultimate Banchou," a popular fighting manga series. When he arrived at work, however, he discovered that his idol was not the tough guy he had imagined. In reality, Kenji Takakura is the pen name of Sekai Ichiko, an 18-year-old girl who embodies the moe character archetype. After Aihara's initial disappointment with this revelation, it will be challenging for him to convince Sekai that he possesses the skills and talent required to succeed as a manga artist.
