Ikkitosen, 一騎当千

In ancient times, heroes who attempted but failed to unite China during the Three Kingdoms period were enshrined in precious gems. These gems have since been dispersed throughout Japan, granting those who possess them extraordinary abilities. However, these owners, known as Toushi, are driven by an insatiable hunger for combat. One such Toushi is Hakufu Sonsaku, residing in a rural area. Although she yearns to engage in battle, her desire remains unfulfilled until her mother advises her to journey to Tokyo and train alongside other Toushi. This marks the beginning of her journey towards realizing her destiny.

Fifteen volumes of Ikkitousen were published in English as Battle Vixens by Tokyopop from April 6, 2004 to May 11, 2010. It has also been published in Italian by Edizioni BD under the J-POP imprint since November 22, 2009.
