During the Edo Era, Tadaaki, one of Akane's regular clients, consistently annoyed her. As a result, Akane devised a plan to bring him down. However, while executing this plan, she began to question whether her feelings towards him were solely driven by animosity or if there was more to it. The story also includes other narratives about courtesans from that time period.
