In a futuristic Japan, an astrologist named Tsuneo Ooguro has made a monumental discovery - a new planet from another universe. This achievement brings him into the public eye and earns him the right to name the planet, which he decides to call Remina after his daughter. However, unlike its human counterpart, planet Remina exhibits strange behavior. Its movements are unpredictable, it shows no clear orbital patterns, and any star it nears disappears. The enigma deepens when Ooguro's assistant claims that the planet has stopped moving and looked him directly in the eye before going mad. To make matters worse, Remina is now heading towards Earth, causing worldwide panic. As public adoration turns into hostility, with the populace believing the Ooguros are responsible for the disaster and must be destroyed to prevent it. With this newfound notoriety, Remina finds herself thrust into an uneasy life of stardom.
On a different note, in another part of Japan, a missing couple resurfaces, floating dead in a lake, naked, and stitched together. Elsewhere, 19-year-old shut-in Michio is visited by his former classmate Natsuko, who invites him to an upcoming class reunion. However, as the murders rise and more people are stitched together, the presence of a mysterious group known as the "Army of One" becomes increasingly prevalent. As Michio starts to suspect that this group could be behind the killings, he fears for Natsuko's safety.
