Shouji was born into poverty but possessed qualities of a hero. However, he spent his days as a lazy drunkard, drowning himself in alcohol and potions. He made a living through violence and encountered a talented alchemist who owed him money. The alchemist created potions with the highest purity Shouji had ever seen. He no longer cared about fame or honor and considered smuggling those potions to the underground world of crime and drugs as an option. Brewing a restorative item that got people high, seeking dirty money and companionship for his gang, he clung onto the potions that made him feel invincible. The "yuusha" challenged the demons lurking in this dark realm.
