Intellectual Villages are modern communities that incorporate advanced technology, yet maintain the charm of traditional rural areas. These villages attract supernatural creatures known as Youkai from Japan. Jinnai Shinobu is a high school student who resides in one such village and shares his home with a Zashiki Warashi. Despite his frequent encounters with these supernatural beings, Jinnai often finds himself in precarious situations due to their presence.
