At Hope's Peak High School in Japan, Chiaki Nanami was chosen as one of the country's top teenage gamers to attend the elite institution. To kick off her first semester, she and her classmates embarked on a class trip to Jabberwock Island, a tropical paradise. However, their joy quickly turned into horror when they were informed by their principal that they were now trapped on the island with no way out except by playing a murder game. In this game, they had to kill another student and get away with it without being caught in a class courtroom. If they voted the wrong person guilty, the killer would go free while the rest would die. With high stakes and no room for error, Chiaki would have to use all her gaming skills to uncover Jabberwock Island's secrets and find the "true ending" for her friends and herself.
